Life beyond “the yard”

Often I reflect on the meaning of my existence in relation to others and wonder if I am positively affecting the world by being here.

And I ask myself, “If life could be measured on a scale, how would mine measure?”

As my pursuit of a degree slowly approaches the finish line, I’m thinking beyond the diploma and beyond the campus yard.

Without question I have always wanted to go to law school. But as of late I’ve been contemplating serving my global community by joining the Peace Corps.

That’s where I am right now… between law school & peace corps applications.

Hey…that’s actually a good place to be. Both are focused on serving others.

Maybe you can do both. Get into law school, then take lots of classes through study abroad programs and spend all your summers do working in other countries. Lots of law students do it.
